Reception Admissions

Applications for a place in Reception (September 2025) must be made through the Cornwall Council School Admissions Service. Full details, including key dates and how to apply online, can be found on the Cornwall Council Admissions website.

Please remember that attendance at our nursery or foundation unit does not guarantee a Reception place — you must still complete the local authority application process.

In-Year Admissions

If you are applying for a place in any other year group during the school year (an “in-year” application), you will need to complete an In-Year Application Form and send it to:

The Cornwall School Admissions Team will contact you directly to confirm the outcome of your application.

If a place is not available, you can choose to:

• Join the waiting list for a place if one becomes available.
• Submit an appeal against the decision. If you wish to appeal, please contact the school in the first instance and we will explain the next steps.
