Keeping Children Safe at St Issey

Keeping children safe at St Issey C of E Primary School is everyone’s responsibility. We keep children safe by:

    • providing a safe and supportive place to learn and play

    • noticing when a child may be at risk and acting quickly

    • working with families and other agencies to support safety and wellbeing

Our safeguarding systems are designed to:

    • stop unsuitable people from working with children

    • promote safe behaviour and challenge anything that isn’t

    • act quickly when there are concerns

    • build strong partnerships with those who support children and young people

Our aim is simple: every child should feel safe in school and beyond it.
