Keeping Children Safe at St Issey
Everyone at St Issey C of E Primary School is committed to keeping children safe.
We do this by:
- providing a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play
- noticing when a child may be at risk of harm and taking prompt action to protect them
- working closely with families and other agencies to support children’s safety and wellbeing
Our safeguarding systems are designed to:
- stop unsuitable people from working with children
- promote safe and responsible behaviour and challenge anything that isn’t
- act quickly when there are concerns about a child’s welfare
- build strong partnerships with all those involved in supporting children and young people
We aim to make sure every child is safe both in school and beyond it.
