Welcome to our school
Sean Powers - Executive Headteacher

Melanie Wells - Assistant Headteacher

Hello and welcome to St Issey.

We consider it a great privilege to be leading this wonderful school as both the Headteacher and Assistant Head.  The children, parents and staff here at St Issey are amazing and all strive to ensure our school is a fantastic place full of opportunities.

We believe that it's very important to make every day of a child's education a special and memorable one.  The whole team here is committed to this aim.  As a result, every day at St Issey is unique and leads our pupils to achieving truly remarkable things.

We see our school community as a family and we share similar values supported and enhanced by the Church of England.

But please, don't just take my word for it.  Come for a visit; meet our amazing team of staff and our very special children.  See for yourself just how magnificent our school really is.

Our Partnership with Venture MAT (Trevithick Learning Academy)

Here at St Issey we are lucky enough to be partnered with Trevithick Learning Academy, a large primary school in Camborne. This partnership enables us to share curriculum systems and learn best practice from one another. Our children are able to visit Trevithick and experience what it is like to learn in a big school, as well as foster friendships wtith other children outside of our immediate community. Furthermore, children from Trevithick are able to visit us to become an extended part of our St Issey family and see how we learn in our wonderful, small school environment. Each year, our children also get the benefit of attending residential trips with their corresponding yeargroups, alongside taking part in sporting competitions and exciting topic days.

This partnership has been legally agreed upon for the next three years (in the first instance).
